Captain's WonderNet backstory
WonderNet was my first ever Neocities website, starting back in 2021. I made some mockups of a fictional operating system called WonderOS. Later on I was watching stuff about Hypnospace Outlaw, which was the fuel for me to make WonderNet. I wanted to make a website dedicated to my OCs, and make something better than whatever Wix can do.
As time went on, the site would get multiple changes, additions, characters, even some sprinkles of worldbuilding here and there.
One character in particular, Wonder-chan, was made to be the website's mascot. She's still around and still supporting WonderNet in Sketchopolis. :)
Of course, I have multiple snapshots of WonderNet when the site was still around on Neocities saved. I wouldn't dare wanna throw away something so valuable to me.

Come around December of 2024, I realized that the person behind it was one of those artificiality and crypto supporters, which is gross.
it wasn't till a while that they decided to add some protection but i'm already here, and i never really wanted to go back to neocities tbh, besides this place is cozy and reminds me of cohost (can i get an amen to that)
And now, here we are. I wanna take this moment to thank Neocities for bringing the initial spark to create something like this and bring it to life.
I also wanna thank therapy for helping me realize that something like this is worth putting time and effort to. It may be long term, and it's really painful sometimes, but holy shit is the payoff worth it.
While the Neocities side of things may not be around anymore as it's the new year, that still won't stop Sketchopolis canon.
In real life terms, the site may be gone and no longer visitable, but in OC and Sketchopolis terms, it's still alive.
Just gonna drop this here real quick, captain. Anybody who has a computer or PDA/mobile device running WonderOS can use WonderNet. So uhh... sorry anybody else-
Who knows? Maybe one day I'll add a bit more to this and turn it into a portal (or rather, a sub-page here). also it's all good wonder-chan, i still got multiple snapshots of the site saved locally
