Hello, my name's Azure.
I like books, as my occupation is a librarian.
What I don't like is destroying preservation. History is important after all. I also don't like it when people make fun of me.
I work as a librarian, helping people with books. Letting people rent books, help them find books, the usual stuff a librarian would do. It's a simple job. Sometimes I would help them out with learning what a computer is and how it works, and sometimes I would help out with events that the library would have. For example, open movie nights and board game sessions.
I don't live a super crazy life, just one I can manage with both of my feet. Librarian seems to fit for me just well. To those who go "but books are useless when you can just pull out your Flipdeck and search the web why are a pair of anthropomorphic fox legs telling me about books" here's the thing about books. Books are what came before the world wide web. If you wanted to learn about something, you would go to a library and learn there. You could read something about history, science, fiction, and get immersed in the text with the worldbuilding that these books can bring. Whether you like dramatic novels, horror, whatever it may be, there'll be a dozen books for it.
Plus, in a world where misinformation is just a few taps or clicks away, sometimes it's best to head to the library and examine the fine print instead of a screen.
Don't forget to support your local library!
